Today was a beautiful day to be home and resting. After sleeping in and eating breakfast, we went for a walk around the block. There's a "reading nook" that the children enjoy, so they sat and read... or rather looked at, interesting books.

It was a very nice walk, very big change from the door-knocking I've been doing. Much slower pace, no social interactions, walking with my children. I was amazed how slow I had to make myself walk because I held my youngest's hand.

When we got back, he had a sandwich for lunch and fell asleep before even finishing it!
