The last day of the week! I managed to get my 20 hours in, so I padded it with an extra 4 hours of door-knocking today.
I found a vehicle which was almost identical to the one I drive, except it was missing it's front bumper. They looked funny next to each other, sort of like I was seeing double.
I almost lost my keys, they were in my back pocket and I sat down. When I got up, about 30 minutes later, I realized my back pocket was empty! I was at an apartment building complex with many identical buildings. It took some visual reconstruction to figure out exactly WHERE I sat down.
I was so relieved when I found my keys. That could have been a big problem.
I was shocked to see a very high gas price (for around here). I almost couldn't believe my eyes: $3.80 cash.
Then I drove further down the road and I saw a much better price: 3.10 cash. What a difference!
How there can be an almost 20% difference in price based on location really baffles me. These two stations were only a few miles apart!
