Aliens and the Psyche (feat. Terrence Mckenna)

Here is the trippy ass video that will be the topic of today's post:

SO, with this in mind, I find myself squabbling about in the same general sphere of theories and theorists that dare to even touch on such subjects as the paranormal. The only inteligible opinions on such matters that I have been able to come across seem to come from three general places: Carl Jung and Jungian psychology, Terrence Mckenna and his psychedelic musings and general quantum theories.

It seems that all three point to paranormal activities as being an extension and interaction of the human psyche on the realities that we perceive. In light of recent advances in our quantum understanding, it seems that whether things like UFO's, ghosts or, I don't know, people even exists really doesn't matter. Everything that can and will ever be experienced in our own frames of reference seems to dance in and out of a permeable reality that is both material and psychological, depending on whether we are looking at it or just thinking about it.

There are several anecdotal and documented instances in which people thought about things so much that they seem to have actually materialized their thoughts and desires into their realities on their own accord.

Whether or not you believe in such things somehow both does and does not matter. Peoples realities are rooted and filtered through their psyches. There isn't a single thing that you CAN perceive that isn't filtered through your brain first.  So it would seem, we can have interactions with UFO's or aliens or Jesus by wanting it so much that the permeable reality we in inhabit will kind of just... give it to us. In many cases, it would seem, reality will give a little more to some than others.

These are just my musings. I am no expert and claim literally none of this to be any sort of actual truth. I am open to discussion on the topic and your points of view on the subject. If you have any experience with anything like this, I am interested in hearing about it.
