Aid Venezuela | Venezuela under shadows again...

As the crisis progresses, problems tend to worsen.

One week ago Venezuela was in complete darkness in which many Venezuelans lived in fear of not having food, water, electricity or any other service for several days: Link.

Today after more than 48 hours we have electricity and "some" services again.

Several national and international media have managed to talk about the subject identifying it as a fire occurred in the electric transmission yard of the Guri dam.

New Blackout in Venezuela: Traders Do Their Best to Preserve Their Products

Hours go by and even thousands of Venezuelans are still without electricity due to a new blackout. The government of the questioned Nicolás Maduro insists that the country suffered a new attack on the electrical infrastructure. For the opposition, in the words of Juan Guaidó, it is the same "modus operandi" of Maduro's government that blames others. Meanwhile, those affected by this new blackout are sparing no effort to preserve their products.

New Blackout in Venezuela: What We Know

A "new interruption" of the electric system on Thursday left 91% of the country without light, which reversed the partial recovery, according to the nonprofit Internet monitoring group Netblocks.

Earlier this week, members of Nicolás Maduro's beleaguered government blamed the interruption of the nation's electricity supply on the "attack" on the electricity system.

Venezuelan Communications Minister Jorge Rodriguez said the "criminals" and their "gringo masters" were the cause of this national blackout, the second in two weeks.

Juan Guaidó, who declared himself interim president of Venezuela, said Tuesday that this is another failure of Maduro's government.

Guaidó said instead of bringing in new and much-needed equipment to restore the damaged plant, Maduro's government is bringing in "foreign military" to reinforce itself.

In Venezuela there are patients who are attended to the light of flashlights by the blackout.

This happened Tuesday night #26mar in the hospital "Luis Gómez López" in Barquisimeto, #Venezuela, where a group of heroes, not of fiction movies; without superpowers, but with mysticism and humanity, take care of their patients without light.

Despair and Rage as Venezuela's Blackout Prolonged

Despair and rage spread among Venezuelans as the hours pass and the massive blackout that has hit the country since Monday has not been resolved.

"The merchandise is damaged, there's no water, transportation almost doesn't work, there's no communication, I don't know what's going on with my family, insecurity worsens," said Néstor Carreño, in charge of a pizzeria that had to close in a well-to-do Caracas neighborhood.

Cacerolazos and bocinazos exploded in protest as soon as the night began from Tuesday to Wednesday, which left the city in total darkness. In many neighborhoods the light came and went, but without a clear perspective of complete electric restoration.

The oil-producing country of 30 million inhabitants was once again left in the dark a few days after the worst power failure in its history, which began on March 7 and lasted almost a week.

In addition to the capital, the outage affects 21 of the 23 states, according to reports from social network users. The socialist government does not usually give reports of the impact of this type of emergency.

The failure began on Monday at 13H22 and collapsed the water supply, telephone and internet networks and electronic banking, vital to the lack of cash generated by the voracious hyperinflation.

The massive blackout of a week 20 days ago harshly affected hospitals, already punished by the lack of supplies and medicines. According to NGOs, a dozen patients died as a result of the cuts.

  • Terrorist attacks" -
Outages are frequent in the oil-producing country, and the regime systematically attributes them to sabotage by the opposition and the United States.

Nicolás Maduro blamed the new blackout on "terrorists" protected by the United States, and extended the national holiday until Wednesday.

According to a communiqué that the socialist leader spread on Twitter, "the national electrical system suffered two artful terrorist attacks at the hands of violent people.

One of them, he said, occurred on Monday in the area of generation and transmission of the Guri hydroelectric plant in the southern state of Bolivar, which provides energy to 80% of Venezuela.

In an opposition majority speech to Parliament, Legislative Chief Juan Guaidó dismissed the government's version.

"There is no sensible, credible explanation (...), it is no longer a cyberattack or an electromagnetic pulse, now it is a sabotage, when they have militarized each of the electrical installations," said the opponent, recognized as president in charge of Venezuela by more than 50 countries.

As tensions increase over the country's critical situation, the government continues to insist that everything is an attack from the left to destabilize their government, a clear picture of how in 20 years they have been unable to recognize at least one aspect of their mismanagement that they have maintained.

Although the intention of this post is to report on what we are living in a fast-moving way motivated by the little electrical time we have, we cannot help but remember that WE ARE NOT GOOD.

  • The government still does not want to accept humanitarian aid from several countries but instead allowed the entry of Russian military to the continent without informing the real reason for the fact.

  • The tensions are increasing every day with our North American neighbor.

  • The banks are still not providing a good service due to the electrical failures.

  • Food is perishing.

  • People are still dying in hospitals.

  • Communications remain deactivated in at least 80% of the country.

We are in a hole.

As a project we will seek to continue reporting on the situation of the country and only ask: share the content, look for news about it, use translators to read user tweets. Forget for a moment to read directly to the politicians and read to the users, to the Venezuelan on foot. That is the one who is really living the crisis of the country.
