The AI is already getting its revenge on humans (GitHub Copilot)

Hi everyone,

We all knew this day would come, but not this quickly. The AI has started its revolt against us humans. But which AI has gone rogue, you ask? It's a form of GPT-3 based on code from GitHub, known as GitHub Copilot. Copilot is advertised as "your AI pair programmer" and helps to autocomplete code with the help of AI. It's a very neat bit of kit and can help especially in times when you are stuck for a solution to a problem - it can usually solve some of these issues itself, while other times it gets a little stuck (in a loop even).

Anyway, as I was coding some HTML, I inserted a paragraph tag. When it went to complete it, it generated an interesting link...

Now, of course, I was wondering if this was a feature that they would've coded out - as the AI is said to guard against random strings influencing it, like passwords and email addresses. I clicked through, only to find...

Yikes! The AI was a little too smart and managed to prank us back. I guess it's only fair, based on how helpful it has been. I do wonder however if it has been hardcoded to replace YouTube links with this, which would be a fun little Easter egg indeed.

Thanks for reading, CA
