Last week, supermodel Gigi Hadid shared the following to her 79.1 million followers (i.e. over 5 times the amount of Jews in the world) on Instagram:
It is an outright lie that Israel keeps children as prisoners of war, and Ahmed Almasra is a good example of this. He was a terrorist who stabbed a 20-year-old security guard and 13-year-old boy, for which he received a sentence of 12 years in prison before it was reduced to 9.5 years.
I guess Hadid got the memo, because she deleted the post and posted the following "retraction":
Note how her "apology" seems to be over using the wrong example only, and not posting the lie that Israel keeps children as prisoners of war (unlike what JTA has reported).
Nor did she apologize for posting this vile lie:

She is certainly her father Mohammed Hadid's daughter; you may recall he recently admitted to posting things without really checking beforehand whether what he posts is true or not.
There is no excuse for anyone to repeatedly post such lies, and especially people with such huge followings. They are adding to the climate of antisemitism and incitement of violence against Jews.
Meanwhile, Gigi closed off comments on her Instagram "retraction," and if you look on Twitter, you will see why.
