STEEMIT TOUCHING LIVES AND INTRODUCING NEW MEMBERS #1 ( Maiden Edition )

Hello Steem Friends,
A couple of days back, I made a post to announce about my absence for the past few days and will be posting my first #SteemIt touching lives in Ghana. With the support from the whole steem community, the project was a success. Much appreciation to @tj4real, @ackza, @thejohalfiles, @federie and all steemians, not forgetting my team of fresh recruits who volunteered to join me to a village in northern Ghana to put smiles on the faces of the pupils in the community called Napolugu.

Our journey took four (4) solid days without electricity and network services, but in all that tiresome journey, and also thanks to your upvotes, we have been able to put a smile on pupils and an entire community.
I want to take advantage of this post and thank @thejohalfiles for his trust in me through @ackza to upvoting my first post on this platform with $1000. I want you to know that, this post is strictly inspired by you and not withstanding the support of @ackza, who believed in us that we will deliver if our post are being upvoted. I am grateful for being on this platform and I want to assure all steemians that, your upvotes will put smiles on the faces of people and change lives. I have just started and with your support and upvotes, more lives will be touched regardless of the location.

This post comes in 3 parts which started at the Chief's Palace and ending with a merry making with the pupils of the community school.

  1. After we arrived in the community and got a place to spend our days, we prepare ourselves the following day to kick start our mission.
We visited the chief and his elders to donate sets of school uniforms to some section of the pupils based on the academic performance and attitude towards peers and the elderly people of the community.
We exchanged pleasantries and we educated on issues concerning the wellbeing of their wards, they also gave us some pieces of advice to continue with this good initiative.
Scroll through the pictures and videos to witness History.
