It is said of man that he is made in God's image.
If we were made in God's image, is God then a he or a she?
Were there two images?
I read somewhere that the image of God does not mean that God possesses human like features but it is a figurative expression for God bestowing some kind of special honour on humankind that he didn't give to the rest of creation.
This is not a post about a controversial religious topic so stay with me.

When God was done with the creation he said it was GOOD.
So what if this image of God we are created after is goodness?
I may be wrong. I may be right too.
It is true that being good might be difficult sometimes because of some people who do not reciprocate or are just ungrateful because they do not inderstand the importance of being good.
But still if we are good,
Not for selfish reasons,
But just because we want to be,
Just because it was the likeness we were created in,
Just because we understand goodness is not weakness,
Just because we understand it takes nothing out of us to be good at all times,
Then you can't even begin to imagine the happiness and peace of mind we'll get in turn.
You can't keep sending positive vibes to the universe and get negativity in return.
Even God our greatest benefactor, our father came down to earth and was killed by people he loved but it didn't make him withold His goodness.
Look beyond pain, hatred, bitterness, strife, envy, hurt, hostility, ungratefulness, every form of negativity.
Be good because you can...for no reason.
Talk is cheap.
Talk comes easy.
But we could give it our best shot.
In a world where you can be anything, be good.
