Acts of Kindness Challenge - Dad's dream.

This story happened several years ago and I'll try to make it short.

It begins to be unpleasant because of my grandmother's illness and death when I was a teenager. It was my father's mother and my dad pretty much survived all this. Shortly after talking to my mum when I asked them about the holiday plans, I learned that this year they would rather not go anywhere because the funeral cost them a lot of money and the insurance covered only half the cost, so all their holiday savings and even more. My mother strongly refused any money from me, but she added only that it was a pity because my father had already collected money for so long on the cheap tablet and had to cash the saving. Then I remembered that dad once asked me about recommending some cheap but efficient tablet and I said

Tablet? Why a tablet dad! Buy a laptop instead.

And I said it just because I was lazy that day, didn't wanted to engage in any research. And my father is a wonderful man, and I treated him like an intruder. I was saddened at that time. My dad came from a broken family where they always lacked everything, and throughout his adult life he did everything for me and my siblings did not lack anything.
Still the same evening I saw everything I could about the tablets and ordered the most up to date on which I could stand (with sim slot, navigation, fullhd, attached keyboard and so on).
The next day straight from work I took the tablet and handed it to my father. I have not seen such a happy man for a long time. Despite the fact that I was instantly broke and did not go on vacation, that feeling was irreplaceable.

Therefore Steemians remember, surround yourself with valuable people and do them good, because good will eventually come back to you!

@rebeccaryan and @natureofbeing - it's way over a 200 words limit, couldn't wrap it up more, but felt to share it anyway.
