How Do I Balance Life? - My Actifit Report Card: May 10 2019

Good evening Steemians,

I hope everyone is doing well now that we made it to Friday. This week definitely slipped through my fingers. I've been struggling to manage my time effectively. Coming home, rest for a little bit and maybe do homework before going to the gym. By the time I wash up and have dinner it's almost time to get ready for bed. This rat race isn't fair. And I'm not sure how to rebalance my time to stay effective. Getting a timer or a stopwatch per activity would make me stressed. I'm not sure how that would work with my fellow Steemians.

I've barely had a chance to read my syllabus all this week. I'm struggling to focus and struggling to find enough time. I don't want to neglect my health again so I can balance between work and school alone. I've actually ran myself to exhaustion yesterday. As soon as I got home work I went straight to bed and slept for like 13 hours. The long sleep was certainly welcomed, but just a shame I couldn't put anytime for homework. If I didn't have work tomorrow I would have a chance for an early start on homework. It's over time so I can't imagine it taking all day.

Today was still exhausting. Had like 24 computers to reinstall the OS and with that a couple of computers were giving trouble and that was an omen for how the day was going to be. Most of my shift has been dealing with script errors and our method of deploying them. I'm still mostly a novice, though I tried to express how much help I needed I was getting limited help. I'm always never working with either system so I don't know how to check and diagnosis. It's hard to know what alarms mean when you don't have the proper references and tools. I didn't really appreciate being humiliated or ridiculed. I just want the project done by whatever means necessary.

Once I got home, I barely had a chance to sit down. It was time to go to the gym. So far I went to the gym 4 times this week.

And I was able to shave off some time from my mile run.

By 30 seconds or so. Today was leg day and almost immediately after the workout my legs were sore! Even now my calves are throbbing. T^T if I find time tomorrow to go to the gym it ought to be upper body. But we'll see. I'm torn with what I want to do.
