Bu Kulah - Culinary from Aceh


Bu Kulah is a white rice wrapped in banana leaves that have been burned with embers as a traditional culinary dish which is a tradition of maulid in Serambi Mecca that began to be difficult to find at the mawlid celebration in urban areas in Aceh.

Bu kulah is a staple menu eaten with a variety of side dishes or broth beulangong, gravy cooked with spices in a large pot.
This culinary is served to the invitees in the celebration khanduri (kenduri) or prophet birthday held in mosques, even at home residents respectively.
