Suffering from Rohingnya and Nestapa

Hello friends all over the world. How are you today? I wish you all a healthy and successful success with the hive community today. Today I repeat the story of Aceh's assistance in humanity to save the Rohing refugees. Hopefully this story will be our passion in helping our fellow humans.

FISHERMAN North Aceh became the attention of the Indonesian Community and International Countries, because of the sympathy action against Rohingya Muslim refugees who were suspended in the ocean and rescued to be temporarily accommodated in the Province of Aceh Precisely in the District of North Aceh.

Various countries reject the presence of residents dubbed this boat man. The same law also applies in Indonesia to rejecting foreigners due to health concerns about the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19).

But different from the native Acehnese, the residents welcomed them warmly like siblings who had just returned from abroad. Without fear of contracting the virus, without knowing the dirty and smelly, they are willing to accommodate and feed and prepare a temporary shelter for immigrants from Rakhine.

"This is purely for humanitarian reasons," said one Acehnese fisherman, Aples Kuari. One of the reasons was because a number of Rohingya immigrant women were pregnant. This poor condition is compounded by the impact in the middle of the sea.

Now as many as 99 immigrants, it is comfortable after being moved to a shelter location in the City of Lhokseumawe, precisely at the Vocational Training Center (BLK) in the Village Village of Muara Dua District owned by the Lhokseumawe City government.

Various assistance from the people of Aceh, Humanitarian Volunteers, Non-Governmental Organizations took part in caring about their destiny by providing various needs needed while at the shelter location. Similar assistance also came from the Government of Aceh, Overseas, UNHCR and other humanitarian agencies to help alleviate the suffering of Muslim Rohingnya .

Aceh looks more not at religious issues, but more at humanitarian issues. Acehnese people never look at ethnicity, religion and race, but when it comes to matters of heart and humanity, the people of Aceh remain at the forefront in helping.

In May 2015, Acehnese fishermen also provided help when around 1,000 Rohingya refugees arrived in the province.

Rohingyas who are mostly Muslim now live without citizenship, having fled brutal persecution in Myanmar for decades. Hopefully their suffering will end soon, so that they can enjoy peace and freedom as we experience it today.

Best Regards,

@cliesna
