So this morning there was an accident in front of my house

I know I haven't been around much. Between working on a house we are prepping to sell and other projects all while suffering additional injuries from a fall a few weeks back I just been too exhausted to come up with content. But sometimes content falls into your lap. Like the car accident in front of my house. I don't mean to sound morbid as far as I know noone died.

The police arrive quick

Which was good to see but that pole he hit is the pole with our transformer on it and the pole.our cable comes off of. So I called the power company to let them know we were without power. And they already knew as the car actually broke the pole in two and they had a crew enroute. The police was quick to get a tow truck out after the ambulance left out with the driver of the truck. Sadly our local newspaper sucks and I have no clue how the driver is doing.

It wasn't long before the linemen arrived

It did take them a few hours to get all the work done and then the rain came and though they got the electric hooked up they didn't fully get the job done as the broken pole is still partly attached to the lines. I am assuming they stopped for their safety and will be back to finish the mounts on the new pole and remove them from the broken one.

We still have no internet

But they are due out tomorrow to reconnect it as the cable line to our house was also on that pole. Bright side I got to go out for coffee this morning. Oh and for those who don't know we just built this house the pole that was hit was one of the poles installed to hook up our electric so our house was the only house affected by this power and internet outage.
