Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary (OALD), Defines Question as a sentence, phrase or word that asks for information.
Also a task or request for information that is intended to test your knowledge or understanding.

Questions become part of the classroom language. But, are we really getting the most out of these questions?
Questioning in the classroom creates the challenge that you learn.
Questioning is crucial to promote higher order of thinking, creativity and to develop learning.

Furthermore, beyong the academic importance of asking questions, there really is a beauty that seems to surround every question, a certain magic or perhaps a better word might be 'delight' that every question brings with it. As people who regularly ask questions and also encourage others to ask questions is a true source of inspiration and wonderment that never cease to abate.

What are the importance of asking questions???

1.To see your fault:
Your afraid to stand up or raise your hand to ask about something your not quite clear with and your afraid,so you choose to live with the doubt
You would remain with that doubt and might never clear yourself because you don't know if that question is very important and it might assist the people around you.

2.To challenge yourself to become better:
You should ask questions not only because it will benefit others but because you'll learn more when your teacher answers and start explaining.

3.To encourage yourself to learn new things :
You learn new things when your question is being answersed probably by a student in your class, you get to share ideas and discover new things.

4.To develop critical thinking skills :
Most people before asking a question thinks of ways to ask.It helps your brain think out of the box.

5.Boost self confidence :
Asking questions in class prepares you for the future, learning how to stand bold and share your view.It helps you over come stage fright, when you can stand up in a class and talk helps build your confidence, so you can talk in public.
