I didn't say that you are afraid, and I certainly don't expect you to admit it if you were afraid, so that wouldn't be an effective point to make in the first place. What I said is that the GOP makes use of fear-campaigns. Transgenders and homosexuals are after your children, don't you know? They're "groomers" and perverts, remember? Immigrants are after your jobs, see? And according to Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump, America is becoming a Third World country because of them. And I could go on, it's not as if there's a lack of fear-mongering on that side of the ideological isle, is there? And if you're going to try to deny that, you live in an alternate reality.

No, the entire conservative movement is based on you believing that nonsense. It's based on the protection of established hierarchical structures; whites over blacks, men over women, rich over poor, straight over gay. They're interested in power for themselves and you're helping them retain that power by you telling yourself that you're self-empowered and that fear is something to be conquered. That's exactly how they can declare war on what you fear; war on terrorism (= war on Islam), war on poverty (= war on African Americans), war on drugs (= war on African Americans), and now they're waging a war on child-groomers (= war on homosexuals and transgenders). I don't really care of you're personally "disgusted by transgenderism"; I care that you don't see how you're being used as a useful tool.

What "moral values"? I'm curious. What's immoral about same-sex couples? About transgenderism? That you're "disgusted" by them isn't an argument. Whites were disgusted by the monkeys they thought black people were. They were disgusted by inter-racial relationships. Men were disgusted by women who wore jeans instead of skirts. They thought those women were "immoral" too. How's your disgust different?

Who's the mentally stunted ones? I don't know. I do know however that the political far right in America, Great Britain, Italy, France, The Netherlands and so on are the brainwashed masses who do not see reality as it is, but as it's presented to them by their political, social and religious leaders. And yes, they're brainwashed by fear and anger, two very closely related primal emotions.
