I was just falling asleep, and it was so close I could FEEL the stomps. And I thought, oh, I know what THAT is! And sure enough, the snorting and whistling started. It carried on long enough for me to get my phone out and record audio. And then, the next morning, it did it again on its way back through the area! It was light out then, so I tried to see it but I couldn't spot it through the shrubs. A couple hours after that, when I had packed and started hiking, I saw one nearby. That's the one in the picture. That one didn't stomp at me, though. 😆
