Oh I definitely am not doing a through hike of the Ice Age Trail. I'm not even sure how far I will be able to get since I can only go like 1 or 2 days at a time out of work. I can't remember what the fastest hiker did? 50 days maybe? I really don't remember! LOL it would probably take me like 4 months. Even the places that are like 6 hours away are probably going to be off limits for me because leaving work and getting to a trailhead and then hiking to a place to stay, and hiking the next day, and then getting back to work the day after that.... I'm not sure how feasible any of that is. So the trails I am doing right now are only about an hour away from home. As for being brave to do it alone, I rarely see anyone! Lol and technically I do have bear spray with me as well.. But I really don't feel afraid. I have spent so much time during my life in the woods, generally by myself. The only thing that is new is actually sleeping out there by myself and making meals. I love it!
