Hi my good people of steemit, it's @Zylad and I'd be doing a little write-up about parenting.

As a Child, I had grown not feeling the Love of my Dad, so I thought. I was always in good spirit whenever I was with my Mum, never felt such with Dad.

I grew to have myself in my dad's position after taking the position of one's Dad after I had gone into marriage, I had myself a Son and a Daughter, I really loved my kids but could hardly show it because of my busy schedules.

I had only returned home late after a stressful day's work and met my Little Boy in tears, I asked only to receive this look that meant "get off my issue", I was surprised. Minutes later my wife came out from the Kitchen where she had been preparing dinner for the family.

She came in and had discussed with my son and suprisingly she won my son over, I saw smiles all over him, I wonder what spell she cast on him... So I decided to wait till we gathered for dinner to ask what the issue was but didn't get a reply. At bed that night I asked my wife what made our son breakdown, she expy and told me how badly he needed his dad to be at his presentation in school. I laughed and went to bed, next day I left early for work remembering my son's presentation in mind and how bad it'd be to disappoint him.

That day I took an excuse and left for home as early as I could, I drove to his school and when he saw me he was indeed amazed. I guess he'd b wondering how I came to know of it. At the end of the presentation, he ran with smiles on his face, I was filled with Joy, His Mum came and both took a walk around the school block. I stood there wondering what my Dad had gone through seeing us show more love to our mum, when he reflected his love through her by gifts he gave to is through her without our knowing.

Later that day, I called home only to get my dad online. He smiled and we had fun on phone together, I did know how hard it was to be a father. A Father's Love can't be measured or seen, but a Father's Love sacrifices more.
