Good morning, fellow summoners! This is @zusi78.
Most people think you need huge amount of money to start making money in Splinterlands.I used to think the same.
But here’s what actually happens.
Every season I just play Survival Mode and Modern ranked battles.I don’t even win every fight. At the end of the season I still walk away with a solid pile of Glint. Take a look my glints earned so far this season battling in modern ranked fights. And we still have eight days to go.
I spend that Glint in the shop and pick up new cards — some stay soulbound at first, others I can unlock later.
The unlocked ones? That’s where the next step comes in.
I plan to rent them out every day or sell them for DEC. DEC is real value inside the game. You can use it, trade it, or convert it.
And Here Is The Best Part.
Because Splinterlands lives on the Hive blockchain, I also write simple posts about my battles, my cards, and what I’m learning.People upvote those posts.
Those upvotes are converted into liquid HIVE in my wallet. I converted some of that HIVE into DEC and used the DEC to buy Chuma Marandu, a powerful Legendary monster, for $1.168 (3,949.949 DEC) in regular foil.Interestingly, there were no Level 1 copies of this card available for rent at the time. However, I was able to rent a Level 2 Gold Foil version. Can you imagine?
No money left my bank.No outside cash.
Just playing the game + writing a few posts = a powerful new card in my collection.
That is the real magic. You can lose battles and still walk away richer in cards. You can unlock those cards, rent them out, and earn while you sleep.
You can write about your journey and get paid in liquid Hive. Then you turn some of that Hive back into more cards(renting or outright buying). It keeps feeding itself.I started small.I wasn’t the best player.I still made progress every single season. At the moment I am at 2,800 rating in modern ranked, that's diamond 3.
Now I have better cards which I would keep upgrading, that will soon generate passive rental income in DEC, plus extra Hive from content — all without putting new money in from outside. If you are still watching from the sidelines, this is your sign.
You don’t need to be a champion. You don’t need a big wallet. You just need to show up, play, and share a little of your story. The rewards will start stacking.
