Hello, Hive friends! 🌟 Welcome to my blog.As I look through the various communities feeds, I get inspired by all the different stories, arts and ideas shared on our blockchain.
But today, I saw this fun and deep picture on Instagram that made me stop and think. It shows a goldfish floating in the air, wishing it could fly, and a bird on a branch, wishing it could swim. Below them, there's a kind message: "Embrace Your Own Beautiful Purpose In This Life! 💛 Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy." As a believer even the Creator commanded we should not compare ourselves with others for we are unique and wonderfully created.
It's a simple drawing, but it teaches a big lesson about loving who you are in a world full of comparisons. Let me explain why this means a lot to me and how it fits our lives here on Hive and in real life.
The picture shows envy and doubt in a clear way. See this; the fish, with its bright orange body,is up in the air, looking up with big eyes, thinking, "I wish I could fly." The bird, with its blue and red feathers, looks down at the water, thinking, "I wish I could swim." Both are so busy wanting what the other has that they forget their own skills, the fish swims smoothly in water, finding hidden spots, and the bird flies high in the sky, seeing things from above.
The background is a calm sea with waves and a far horizon, showing how their worlds are different. At the bottom, on a green background, the words say: "Embrace Your Own Beautiful Purpose In This Life! 💛" And there's an old-style sign that says, "Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy."
This hits close to home because we all do this sometimes. On Hive, where people create, write, draw and build businesses with rewards that everyone can see,it's easy to compare. You might see someone's post get lots of upvotes and HIVE coins for great photos, while your post about blockchain gets just a few likes. Or as a new user on ecency as a case study, you look at big groups like #hiveblog or #ocd, and wonder why your work isn't growing fast. But the truth is, like the fish and bird, we each have our own place. The fish isn't made to fly,it's for swimming deep. The bird isn't for swimming, its wings are for flying high.
Thinking more, comparison quietly takes away our happiness. In simple terms, we judge ourselves by others and it makes us feel bad,it has brought disappointment 😞, sorrows and setbacks to many.
On Hive, where we see everyone's rewards and talks, this can feel stronger. But loving your purpose means looking inside. What are your special skills? Maybe you tell great stories mixing your life with crypto lessons, or you play hard in Splinterlands games and win battles, or you use Actifit to track your walks and earn tokens for staying fit.
For me, one of my goals on Hive is to share uplifting posts like this to help others. It's not about beating others, it's about doing well in your own way.To make this easy dear friends, here are simple steps to love your purpose:
Think About Yourself:
Each day, write down three things you do well. On Hive, this could be writing fun comments, finding good posts to support, or trying apps like Splinterlands for games or Actifit for fitness.
Enjoy Small Successes:
Don't look at someone's 100+ upvotes,be happy with your first reward or a nice reply from another user. Happiness comes from growing, not being perfect.
Work Together, Not Against,Hive grows when we help each other.Join groups like #leofinance for money tips or #creativecoin for art.let's spread good vibes!
Be Careful What You See:
When using frontends Apps like PeakD,Ecency and the likes, let them inspire you, not to make you compare.Remember, every good post took hard work, just like yours.
In the end,you can see that this picture is more than fun,it's a reminder to act.Let's stop wishing for someone else's skills and grow our own. This way, we find our own joy and make Hive better with real, different posts that make our blockchain special.
What about you? Have you ever compared yourself on Hive? Tell me in the comments,I'd love to read your stories! 💛 Let's keep growing together.
Stay strong, and thank you for your precious time to read up to this point. @zusi78 signing off 🚀
