Conjurer’s Hubris Joins the Party: Dual-Attack Mayhem in Silver Bracket III—Modern Ranked.
Good day, Summoners! Hope you’re all enjoyed your weekend and racked up some solid wins.
This is @zusi78 with another Splinterlands update.
This is only my second season under the new Modern Ranked bracket system, and I’ve locked into Bracket III (Silver). The competition has been fierce. Every match feels like a proper scrap against well-built decks and high-level cards. To stay competitive I brought in Conjurer’s Hubris level 4— the dual-attack, dual-element (Fire/Water) monster I’ve been eyeing for a while.
He pairs perfectly with my all-time MVP, Nephket. Their shared Stun ability creates some nasty disruption that can completely throw off opposing teams. As a longtime dual-attack enthusiast, I rented him for the rest of the season and he has not disappointed.
The results speak for themselves.Last season,I finished the last leaderboard cycle in 32nd place inside the Top 100, and right now I’m grinding hard to break into (and hold) the top 25 for that 25k Glint reward. Currently sitting at 29th.
I will be breaking down this epic battle that really stood out — the one where Conjurer’s Hubris went full menace mode and completely took over the board.
Stay tuned, Summoners — the dual-attack show is just getting started.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥
Aim True & Born Again.
My opponent came at me with a very powerful lineup. He had Silverleaf mage with poison burst, a healer(Inept healer),a scavenger(Lord Thanalor) and a monster with the resurgence ability(Oridum Graybrow). It was a nice set up by him. But I had three dual attack monsters on the battlefieldand Nephket and Conjurer's Hubris had a swell time dictating the pace of the game with their dual strike and stun ability. It was a delight to watch.
I really love this scene where Lord Thanalor was remaining with a huge +24 health. But how do you face five monsters where two had the stun ability?.
And with wasting time and before I could say Jack Robinson, Conjurer's Hubris was the first to attack, going fully with its stun ability. And that was it.
Game over.
