Yesterday I went out to buy some food when we passed by the house of some neighbors who had built a small structure some time ago to protect themselves from the sun's rays, but unfortunately what they used were renewable materials that deteriorate after a period of time, such as some logs and coconut palms.
En el día de ayer salí a comprar unas cosas para comer cuándo pasamos por la casa de unos vecinos qué habían construido ya hace algún tiempo una pequeña construcción para protegerse de los rayos solares pero desafortunadamente lo qué usaron fueron materiales digamos renovables y qué luego de un período de tiempo se dañan cómo por ejemplo algunos troncos y palmas de coco.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think they removed everything to rebuild it, but not before giving me the opportunity to take these photographs of the shadow of the tree trunks on the wall of their house.
