¿Llegaré a ella?
Has visto muchas cosas y vivido otras tantas.
Simplemente maravilloso.

Last year, when I was returning from university, I realized something: There are many elderly people living alone in the country. In Barcelona, it's common to see neighbors outside, sitting and chatting, or simply sitting and watching others pass by.
So this image you see here transports me to that place: Barcelona, its colonial houses, that tranquility of strolling through its streets, while listening to the parrots at 6 p.m.
It also makes me think about old age, what will it be like? Will I reach it?
Every time I see an elderly person, I ask myself this and say that it's a blessing to be 80 years old. You've seen so much and lived so much.
Simply wonderful.
But, at the same time, you face loneliness. You may have friends, or perhaps not. Your family may still be with you. The family you created may always be there for you.
Or perhaps not.
The future is uncertain.
Years ago, I thought my group of friends would be the same as always; however, one of them passed away. With the other, I simply distanced myself because I needed to.
I understood that there are things you just have to let go of. Because you need to do it to move forward.
From that moment on, I began to face many things that made me rethink the concept of "forever."
Some taught me this calmly, others with a bit of pain in the process.
And like everything in life, it left me with something. Something to learn, something that will serve me well.
So I don't know if I'll be a wise old lady. What I am sure of is that I will be someone who lives everything I want to live, and that's what my stories will be about.
I ask God to fulfill that desire, that I have the joy of living it fully, just as I envision it.
