Pero, 驴cu谩ntas veces oro?, 驴cu谩ntas veces agradezco?
Pero s铆 es algo a lo que he puesto mi atenci贸n en este a帽o.
Soy humana, me equivoco, y me quejo.
As铆 que, te comparto en el d铆a de hoy estos dos:
! [English Version Here]
A few months ago I read something very interesting about the Muslim religion. And they pray 5 times a day, which is known as Salah. At that moment I thought that in the Catholic religion it is customary to pray at night, in the Christian religion, to pray, when you get up and when you go to bed, even several times a day.
But, how many times do I pray? How many times do I thank?
With these questions I lay down on the bed while looking at the ceiling of my room.
So I thought about practicing prayer more as a habit, and coupled with it, gratitude.
Because both go hand in hand. On the one hand, we have prayer that allows you to connect with that spiritual plane, about what I can say is a different state of relaxation and even meditation.
You pray, and you connect with God at that moment, at the same time those answers that you needed so much can come to you, since you are dedicating that time only to this action.
On the other hand, we have gratitude, which is what I usually do when finishing. Although it may seem simple, when you start you have no idea how to do it.
At first I was just grateful for the day, health and family. Little by little, like any habit you form, it unlocks more levels, so I realized that there was more to be grateful for.
That is why I have asked the question: Do you practice a life of gratitude? If so, what are you most grateful for today?
To which I can answer that yes, I practice gratitude daily. Not in my entire life, if I told you that, I would lie to you.
But it is something that I have paid my attention to this year. That I no longer see things as before, that life has taken on another meaning and that once again I agree with grandma, because the spiritual part is more important than the material part (just as she used to say).
Gratitude began to be part of my life when I realized that I was luckier than I thought.
Of course, I complain about some things, the country, the bad customs, etc. I'm human, I make mistakes, and I complain. However, as I analyze more and more, I realize that there are a range of people, things, circumstances and others to be grateful for.
Given this, one may wonder what all this is about. So in the Bible we can find endless verses about gratitude, which makes me think about the value it has. So, today I share these two with you:
"Be anxious for nothing, unless your requests are made known to God in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving."
-Philippians 4:6"And they sang, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, and saying: Because he is good, because his mercy endures forever."
-Ezra 3:11It shows us praise, prayer, and finally, gratitude. This being giving our words of recognition to something that has value for us. Like life, health, an academic achievement, the day, our pets, the tranquility of our home, the happiness of life, finding something we have been looking for, love, affection...
And we only give that same recognition with words, we do not need money, we do not need something that we have to look for at the end of the world, because everything we need is found in us, our words being something with which we can give back everything we have.
In some way I see this as a kind of spiritual circle where everything flows at its own pace, little by little, where everything is born, everything emerges, everything goes in a calm, peaceful, and magnificent way.
So today I have something else to add to my gratitude list for the day, and that is the opportunity to share this with you.
