Previously the project owner opened an issue to design a logo. After I reviewed this project, I was interested in creating a logo for the project. And the project owner agrees.

Check-In is a free and open source Android app for posting your current update to your followers. It uses an approximation of your current location and plots it on a map. You can also see your followers recently updated statuses.
I created this logo with a simple, memorable, modern and unique style. In the logo, I have combined several elements, namely a letter 'C', a letter 'i', pin map and camera.
All of these elements relate to the project and have the meaning of each. The letters 'C' and 'I' come from initial 'Check' and 'In', and the pin map element means a location while a camera means that this app can take a picture of a location.
The icon has been designed according to the material design guidelines.
