Hi guys, life is something to live for, and there are so many beautiful things, so many places to be explored in this world, which make life more livable and kind. Today, I'm going to show you Neelum Valley, Kashmir, in Pakistan. I believe, if there is paradise, it is in Neelum Valley. This place is so beautiful, so temperate, and so compassionate that when I visited here, I felt like there can be no place that can reach the energy of this place.
Neelum Valley is accessible by road, and I've had the opportunity to visit there multiple times with my family. Recently, I attended a workshop in Neelum Valley focused on preserving nature and exploring the valley's beauty. The experience was incredible!
Driving through the mountains, near the rivers, and surrounded by lush green grass and trees is a wholesome experience. The local culture is rich and diverse, with unique customs and cuisines that instantly capture your heart and make you fall in love with the place.
There are different activities that people can do in Neelum Valley, including trekking, hiking, rafting, and camping. Camping is one of the most beautiful experiences, and I highly encourage visitors to give it a try. It's an amazing feeling to camp at night, surrounded by nature's serenity and the starry sky. The experience is truly unforgettable!
I was told that Neelum Valley got its name from the River Neelum. We spent some time by the river, and the water was incredibly cold and freezing, even in June.
At night, we had to wear sweaters and shawls to keep warm. What's remarkable is that the water is so fresh you can drink it straight from the source.
The town of Sharda was breathtakingly beautiful, and we had a workshop there. I spent hours engaging in various activities, including singing, and we even had a barbecue. I truly enjoyed my time there.
The workshop we were told so many different things on different levels that we can do to preserve the nature and culture of this amazing valley and the culture of Pakistan in general.
One of them was spreading awareness about responsible tourism in which we were told not to throw waste or garbage on the roads to preserve the beauty and sanctity of this valley. We can do sustainable practices which are beneficial for the environment as well.
Moreover, over-tourism can also drain the valley itself. When so many people visit the valley, it is surely beneficial for the business, but it really harms the valley, the sanctity, the beauty of the valley.
This is why the government, we were told, should ensure that the tourism is regulated. We were told that there are so many vloggers and the YouTube community is growing. This is why the local culture of Neelum Valley and other northern areas should be preserved and documented through these channels and blogs.
Garcias my dear friends. I'm trying to show my world to the people from across the world. The fake image of my country Pakistan is shown on global media, this is my responsibility as a patriotic citizen to play my little part to show the actual and beautiful side of Pakistan. I have taken these pictures with my cellphone during my visit to the Neelum Valley Kashmir this month June 2025.
