Today we will talk about Carpenter Bee and i will also share macro picture of black carpenter bee.
there are different type of carpenter bee in this universe. Carpenter Bees looks like to the bumble bee but bumble bee have more yellow colored hair at the upper side on abdomen. The carpenter bees have refuge in a wooden nest so that they can lay their eggs and then they can born their child. the Scientific name of this specie is Xylocopa.
So They are harmful for us when they pierce in the doors and windows of wood of our homes. The Carpenter bees are found at the last of spring season but i found it on the plants of flowers. the Carpenter bees are not harmful for only in the cases of biting or sting.
The color of Carpenter bees that we can see in the picture are totally black. it have shiny black color. its means that it has the dark color and the color of abdomen are also black. Basically make carpenter bee protect their nest and have no stinger but female have stinger but it is not a social insect like other honey bee insects.
When i took these pictures, this Carpenter bee was siting on the white flower and sucking its juice. the abdomen part of his body was attached with flowers stigma and stamen whose color was yellow.
