I took this in Rotorua, New Zealand and think it really looks like a painting rather than a photograph. A fun fact about Rotorua is that the "steam" coming from the ground is actually coming from geothermal vents and the entire city smells sulfuric. After a few hours, you get used to the smell, but it's still very odd and I must give respect to those that choose to call this place their home!
