Here is a shot that takes us away to a mythical land. The half-bog, half-lake has a lot of texture and detail, yet the top of the photo terminates in an ocean-like horizon with a magical mountain-hill in the distance... The clouds and foreground "grass" really help frame the subjects in my opinion.
This was taken on my Nikon D700 and the simple 50mm f/1.4 lens at 1/250 sec, f/13 and ISO 1000. I hope you like it!
