I found this very interesting tutorial on the internet on creating a voxel rocket and how to do it really nicely. So I've decided to follow this tutorial and see if I can replicate the nice smoke, afterburners of a rocketship going to the moon. As of recent hikes in crypto price, I also think this is pretty relevant. I present to you rocket to the moon.

Smoke Effects

After finishing the rocketship, I needed to sculpt more of the smoke effect. This is in pixels and the smoke's render needs to follow where the pixel sculpts are. So I duplicated and sculpt a lot of randomized voxels to create a smoke like texture and I changed the material to 'cloud'.

Afterburner

Creating the afterburner was also interesting. I used the 'emitter' material for the fire. I had 6 red to yellow colour palette to be used and I painted the pixels gradually as you can seen in the progress. The brightest part would be the source of the rocketship and it gradually disperse into darker colours then into the smoke.

Painting and Ramps

For this last part, I decided to paint the rocket ship and create the rocket ramps for docking and undocking the rocket.
