¿Qué placeres, conocimientos y alegrías has descubierto?
Hello friends of this beautiful community, may God bless you in all things. I thank my friend
@leidys01 for inviting me to this contest and I invite my friend
@josdelmi to also express her opinion on these interesting questions. I like both questions, I couldn't choose just one of them because of the religious connotation of the questions and the importance of them.>
The questions say "Statistically, women tend to be more spiritual than men. Whatever faith - Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan or other - how did it become your faith? What pleasures, insights and joys have you discovered?>
Do you believe in, or have you even experienced, angels and demons? What would be your ideal guardian angel or demon? Be creative.">
Regardless of my answers the first thing I want to express is my respect for all religious beliefs, I defend religious freedom and have dear friends in different denominations. I am a Seventh-day Adventist, a church known by some for its adherence to the observance of the 10 commandments, including Saturday as the weekly Sabbath instead of Sunday as other denominations have accepted, I believe this is one of the main differences. Others know us for the social works (ADRA) or the work that is done in teaching values to young people through the clubs of Senior Guides, Pathfinders or the Children and Adolescent Ministry of the church. It is a worldwide church where a healthy lifestyle is promoted, with deep attachment to the Bible as a rule of faith and emphasis on the integral development of the individual, hand, mind and heart, which is why the church has many schools and universities around the world, as well as clinics and dispensaries because it pays much attention to education and health. But the question revolves around how it became my faith and what pleasures, knowledge and joys I have experienced, basically it is about me, what I feel about my faith and my relationship with God.>
Since I was a little girl I liked to listen to the stories in the Bible, my dad would tell me before bedtime, the story of Queen Esther, Joseph and his brothers, Daniel in the lion's den, all those stories I liked. I would ask my dad where those stories were and he would look them up in the Bible or tell me where to look, I would look them up and read them by myself. Dad taught me to pray and my mother was my best example of prayer because every night before going to sleep I would see her kneel down and pray. Even today, as an old woman, she still prays every day, sitting on her bed. Mom attended different churches, as long as they talked about God.>
Through my dad we learned about the Adventist church, he learned about it first and sometimes we would accompany him to services. I loved the youth class, the teacher Evila de Tellez was special with us, she motivated us a lot to learn, many of us remember her with special affection. When I was 11 years old I wanted to be baptized, my mom sent my older brother to talk to the pastor so that he would not baptize me because my decision was a passing emotion, it was for my friends. The pastor told him that if it was just an emotion, then it would pass. And what do you think? I never got over it, I was baptized on May 28, 1983, 39 years ago, when I was 11 years old and I have never left my faith nor regretted my decision. Let us not underestimate children, I understood that there is a conflict between good and evil, that God did everything to save us by sending his son Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself for all mankind, who died for me. I wanted with all my heart to reciprocate his love. I thank God for allowing me to know Him at an early age in my life and I believe that to walk with Him is wonderful, to recognize Him in my ways, to see His deeds in my life and to grow spiritually by His side. My mom and my sisters were baptized a month later and we are all still Adventists.>
In my spiritual growth I have learned many things that have filled me with faith and hope, if you take away my faith, I think I would not be me, I would be someone else, my whole life has always been linked to my experience of faith in God. In fact, he is interested in every aspect of our life, nothing escapes his wisdom. He says that he is close to those who seek him, those who truly seek him. In one post I could not talk about all my life experiences with God, there are many answered prayers and I am very grateful, I continue to learn and grow in my spiritual life and knowledge of his word.>
I am a teacher and that knowledge has helped me to serve Him with love in the church in the Children and Adolescent Ministry, also in the Sabbath School, Women's Ministry and Education, along with other activities that the church does for others.>
Saludos.

As for the second question, of course I believe in angels and I also believe that demons exist. The latter according to the Bible were angels who rebelled against God in heaven and were cast to earth, under the leadership of Lucifer (in principle the most beautiful angel), who wanted to be equal to God and rebelled against his sovereignty and his law. God could have destroyed them at that moment, but there would have remained doubts in the universe regarding God's justice. This is what is known as the great conflict between good and evil. The enemy was allowed to reveal all his evil, just as God's great love through his beloved son, Jesus, has been revealed before the whole universe. That battle is God's and it is certainly already won and in due time it will come to an end, let us not worry. Our concern should be to be closer to God every day, so that his holy angels may be around us as promised. "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and defendeth them" (Psalm 34:7). (Psalm 34:7).>
I have heard many stories of people who were warned or saved by unknown persons whom they later sought to thank and did not find. We do not know if they are those angels administrators of God that manifest themselves in our help, in time we will know it, what is certain is that God promised to send them for our protection. Once my sister and I, as young girls, went to a congress and we fell asleep in an afternoon nap in the house where we were hosted, the truth is that people left without us and we did not know how to get to the church. First time we went to Barcelona, it was dark and drizzling, we did not know where to go, we prayed. A gentleman with a kind and serene face spoke to us from a car and asked us where we were going. We tried to explain and he said he would take us. We were in the car, the gentleman advised us among other things to be prudent and to be more alert, he left us in front of the place and when we got out, we wondered why he advised us so and how he knew the direction so easily, he could be a brother of the church, but we never saw him again. We believe that God sent his angel or used that man to help us. I am sure that God's angels often act in our favor, taking care of us.>
God has wonderful plans for us, I know He has faithful children in all denominations, I know incredible people, according to the light He reveals to us we must grow spiritually and fulfill His will for our life, the instruction manual is in the Bible, by reading it we will understand better His will and grow in our personal relationship with Him.>
God bless you immensely, beautiful community, thank you for this question with religious connotation that allows us to know each other better in the community. I have read very beautiful life stories, thank you for sharing them and thank you for reading me. Greetings.>
