Love

My presumption is to think that the meaning of love has deteriorated in our evolving modern age. The pace of life has seems to have increased while the time we spend on human interactions has decreased. Love has become has become become a quick get quick sell commodity. There seems to be a rush to fall in love and likewise a rush to fall out of love and move on. Gone are the days of past where long lasting romance carried over the years. Love has lost its innocence. It seems to love is to be physical and no less will suffice. Yet wouldn't it be wonderful to know that the holding of a hand, a glimpse, a word or even thought is still enough to make the heart beat faster....? Our society does not give us the means to love as we should... Love has been saturised to the point think we feel it but the momentary excitement proves to be just that. We have forgotten how! Our interpretation of love has been demoted to a two hour Hollywood pitch. The silence of love between two people who electrify each other with a simple smile is all but lost...
