New website in development

My girl @sandyspictures has been using a wordpress site for the last 2 years. But as the business grew and we were talking about it, it became more and more apparent that the style and the size of a wordpress system no longer did what it supposed to.

Wordpress by itself is not a bad system. But the overly scripted system is to big for your average site. There is to much in the system that is never used and impossible to clear that we decided to make a site from scratch.

Then came the dilemma if we would use bootstrap 4, jquery, or other prefabricated systems. Again we decided to not do just that and that we would only use that which we needed.

So in the end we used masonry from desandro and all the rest is created from scratch. Plain and simple css – html – php – javascript.
