Mass Kill Bot Elite

I've already posted about a Mass Kill Bot. You can see it here. In that post, and originally... OFFICIALLY, the name is "M455キル ボット". It comes from:

Mass = M455
Kill = キル (Would be the way to write 'kill' in Japanese, NOT to translate it.
ボット (Same, writing 'bot' in Japanese katakana)

I've thought of these as some kind of video-game enemies. Like when you find an enhanced version of an enemy and is the same but with wings, or the same but in red colors.

So the standard version is kind of weaker than this one, but what makes the elite meaner is it can fly... or perhaps just hover. Like with a potent jet-pack.

In the pose that shows the back one should be able to see the "jet-pack" but I went too dramatic with the lighting and those details were lost. I managed to process a little the image and here the details are more visible:

Then dunno why but I tried something kind of stupid. To make a sort of hologram, like one of those cards from the nineties that were the highlights in collections of cards. Oh mama, how I liked those. Well anything iridescent make me fell butterflies in the gut. Like those insects that have metallic and iridescent colors in their exoskeleton! I can observe them for minutes and minutes like an idiot. Anyway, My aim was to make an image that just by seeing it and moving your eyes around would create that illusion of movement and iridescence... Like the holograms in the cards from the nineties. I wrote that already -_-

The thing that inspired me for the shape and form of these bots was a dream, about a robot that, while I was riding my bike pretty fast, I saw was coming my way running at a considerable speed. The roboto was big, so big it jumped over the electric lines like those hurdle runners. Was kind of impressive/scary/unsettling.

So that's it for the M455キル bots. Were sculpted in 3D-Coat and rendered in Blender using Cycles. For the sake of #3ddesign.
