It's Christmas time, and festive spirit is everywhere. However, under certain circumstances, I am either in the office or at home. Otherwise I'd go out to take some shots for POBphotocontest New Round. Wait, I still can search my photo archive, and I do have some recent pictures that I didn't posted yet. Yohoo.

I came from South Eastern Turkey 2 months ago. These shots are captured in Sanliurfa, the capital of Sanliurfa Province but much more known for its 12,000 years history.

This is lovely Halil Ur Rahman Mosque is built around Balikligöl pool - the living space of the sacred carps.

This necropolis was discovered recently. It's located within the city, near Sanliurfa Archaeology Museum complex. The houses of alive are above the final resting place of the dead, their ancestors.

I was capturing these photos using my lightweight tripod, when guys of our traveling group passed by. They were greatly surprised with my efforts, and asked me why am I doing all that? Meaning a tripod and camera. Why not using the camera of the phone. And I was surprised with the question.

Here, on Hive, I'm not feeling a dinosaur. But who knows...
