Mi mama cuando viajo en el mes de julio para la graduación de su nieto Yeo, me pidió que le hiciera algo bonito para regalarle a la otra abuela y a la mama de Yeo, ya que ambas en otras ocasiones que Yeo, la ha visitado, ambas mujeres han sido detallistas con mi mama, a lo que no podía negarme ni decir que no.
Asi que me activé rápido, para que estuviera listo antes del viaje, me fui a mi cuarto de deposito a ver que tenia para hacer los obsequios, ya que en su mayoría fue con material reciclado.
Materiales:
-Tablitas de madera.
-Mecatillo.
-Clavitos y cáncamo.
-Girasoles de foami.
-Foamis escarchados: dorado, negro, blanco, rosado.
-Pinturas blanca, negra y azul.
-Hojas blancas.
-Lápiz, tijera.
-Taladro, mechas.
Son dos obsequios el procedimiento es el mismo para ambas, solo que varían en el tamaño, color, pero es lo mismo.
Manos a la obra:
-Ocupe una tablita rectangular de 30 cms de largo por 20 de ancho, la limpie, abrí dos huequitos en las esquinas superiores aquí pasare el mecatillo, le pase lija, la pinte primero con pintura blanca como base y luego con pintura negra, le di 2 manos. Para finalizar gel nacarado escarchado.
-Luego sacar la plantilla del nombre quise hacer algo diferente, no con las letras o moldes que tengo, quería letras cursivas, así que fui buscando letra por letra del nombre ONEIDA y fui armando el nombre en PowerPoint.
-Me encanto el resultado así que lo empleare en otras oportunidades.
-Guarde la plantilla en una carpeta de imágenes, para trabajarla mejor, ya que la podía ampliar al tamaño que necesitaba.
-Ya con la plantilla, la repase varias veces, con lápiz de grafito, para luego colocarla en el foami blanco al revés y el foami como es escarchado también al revés.
-Con el nombre en el foami, lo repase, para luego recortarlo, con mucho cuidado, si se recorta mal, se notará.
-Pegue el nombre con silicon sobre foami dorado para el contraste luego sobre la tabla. Recortar dejando un borde dorado en todo el nombre.
-Busque la tabla que ya estaba totalmente seca, y pegue con silicón caliente, siempre uso la pistola, es más rápido y pega mas rápido. Si centre bien el nombre, lo coloco y así es que lo voy pegando.
-Para decorar la tabla, tenia unas flores de girasol que hice en foami hace tiempo, por eso es bueno guardar, para siempre tener.
-La función de esta tablita era como para colocar llaves o hasta collares, como la misma tenia como una ranura ahí coloque unos clavitos negro pero en forma inclinada, para que lo que coloquen no se caiga.
-Así quedo la tablita, me encanta lo que hago, como dije arriba la segunda tablita fue diferente pero es el mismo proceso.

I cleaned it, drilled two small holes in the upper corners (where I’ll thread the string), sanded it down, and painted it first with white paint as a base coat and then with black paint, applying two coats. To finish, I added a pearlescent frosted gel.
-Then, when I took the name template, I wanted to do something different—not with the letters or stencils I already had. I wanted cursive letters, so I searched for each letter of the name “ONEIDA” one by one and put the name together in PowerPoint.
-I loved the result, so I’ll use this technique again in the future.
-I saved the template in an images folder so I could work with it more easily, since I could resize it to whatever size I needed.
-Once I had the template, I traced it several times with a graphite pencil, then placed it face down on the white foam sheet—and since the foam has a frosted finish, I also placed it face down.
-With the name on the foam sheet, I traced it and then cut it out very carefully; if you cut it out poorly, it will show.
-Glue the name onto gold foam board using silicone glue for contrast, then attach it to the board. Cut it out, leaving a gold border around the entire name.
-Find the board that’s already completely dry, and glue it on with hot silicone—I always use a hot glue gun; it’s faster and the glue sets more quickly. If I’ve centered the name properly, I position it and glue it down that way.
-To decorate the board, I had some sunflower flowers I made out of foam a while back—that’s why it’s good to save things, so you’ll always have them.
-This little board was designed to hold keys or even necklaces. Since it had a slot, I placed some small black nails in it at an angle so that whatever you put on it wouldn’t fall off.
-Here's how the little table turned out. I love what I do. As I mentioned above, the second table was different, but the process is the same.
