Hello friends of weekends, where we can do some things out of the routine, like resting after a week of work, organize the house, go shopping because we are in Christmas, but we could also go to a BINGO!
In Venezuela bingo is a very popular game, played by children from 6 years old to grandmothers, there are several types of bingos: numbers, animals, figures or objects, in which there are prizes.
This past Saturday December 9th there was a charity bingo, this can be done by institutions of any kind, such as communities, but in this case they did it in the preschool where my children studied years ago, I also made good friends with all the staff of the same, and there are few teachers of the time, as new ones have arrived too.
So first I went to Colon Street to run an errand, came back, changed my headband, went to the preschool where for a while I could see smoke coming out, I thought it was a grill.
When I arrived I saw some friends, colleagues like Professor Pascual, he saw me first and called me, we talked for a while, he was like animated of the event, he has always been a very collaborative person besides being an excellent professional in culture.
I continued greeting those I knew, since I was in the community, although there are children who live in other sectors who study there, I arrived at the place where the smoke was coming out, which was not a grill, but the famous chorizos, which are prepared as skewers, I asked how the sale was, they told me to go buy a ticket and they were at 30 bs and a juice at 10 bs, I drank the juice and saved the chorizos for later when I came home.
I continued sharing, I did not play bingo because two games had already passed, but I entertained myself watching, talking, a different time outside the house, the good thing is that it is close almost in front of my house, in another nearby school where I studied, where there is another preschool there was also a charity bingo, these are very common in these times of Christmas, in fact in this preschool where I went, I think it is the third they do, in the first one I prepared a tizana with support from other parents.
I started the third game, the thing was that the winner had to be in big x's, but in colloquial speech it is called macheteao, the players must be alert and call bingo fast, before they call the next card, where one shouted Bingo!!!, if first they must go to verify the game on the board, with the numbers that already came out, in cash had won. Actually bingo are cards, but for these activities there is a special program, where 4 cards are printed on a sheet, for 4 plays, always the biggest prize is the last play, which is done with a full card.
Before I left my house, I took some of those Christmas gifts that I have made, I took them to share with some of the teachers, among them Maria Gabriela, who taught my children and my nephews. As well as teacher Mayola, who is one of the new teachers at the school.
There were some events where the students participated, as well as the teachers, the parents. I was going to leave, but I waited for the parrandon chorale of the preschool staff, led by teacher Pascual.
Now I looked for Sarai who is from the maintenance staff to open the gate and I left, arrived home and shared with my children the delicious chorizo.
I could say that this day was the reward of the week, since I had a full week of many errands that kept me busy, exhausted, but if I don't do them no one else can do them.
