But I'm not a fool, and neither do I reside in a fantasy world; that harmonious, trusting world I mention above is, probably impossible. Still, we can all work as individuals, upon ourselves, and towards change of thoughts, attitudes and behaviours right?
Enough said really. We simply can't solve all the world's problems even if we wanted too - because things like misery, pain, and misfortune, are necessary tools for growth. However, we can still try :)
Yeah...I like to think that "Harmony" is just another sub division counterpart of "Love". Somehow, it always comes back to this.
You know, the thing about Harmony though, is that many people see it as such a complex phenomenon! However, much like it's counterpart, love, they fail to realise that it actually exists in the littler things.
Never doubt the power of:
— Tolerating your obnoxious boss/co-worker in order to create peace in your work place.
— Volunteering and strategically retreating when necessary, in order to spare the lives of many and reduce the cost of damages from the aftermaths of war...
Heck those are even somewhat complex, how about:
— Politely speaking to others, especially to the ones whom we know are sensitive.
— Turning the towel on an argument with your spouse or friend, in order to avoid little and unnecessary fights.
—Being nice to your neighbor.
—Listening(especially when you're put in a leadership position)
—Being empathetic and understanding to others, not critical nor discriminative.
But most importantly,
— To whomever, whatever, and wherever, always try to show some level of love and kindness. Because truth is, we are all just reflections of our own selves.
Ideas too common or simple that they are often generally, overlooked.
Infact, ARC should do trick: a random act of kindness
LoL, I could think of a whole lot more but these are the ones that come to mind right now. Frankly, I don't think any of it is too hard.
