It's interesting... Our lives overlap in someway.
Oh yeah...I can totally relate to your rustiness in German! It actually happened to me during the time I had just written my A2 exam and decided to take a whole 3 month hiatus! Then came the time for me to actually get back to studying for B1 and boom, dative and genetive cases became completely alien to me! Lol, I think the only sentence that really stuck with me afterwards was the gold ol classic : Das Auto Des Mannes ist Kaputt🤣
Learning German (or any language for that matter), requires constant assimilation and practice — WITHOUT BREAKS — UNTIL YOU SPEAK IT WITHOUT THINKING! But fear not, your German might be rusty now, but once you get back on the old horse, alles wird gut! Glaub mir😌
I agree with you, Hive really is a special place for special people. I believe a time will come when it would go mainstream and once it does, the world will never be the same again.
Hmm, I don't know much about Mahler either, apart from his famous Symphony No.5 of course, but this was a treat to listen to while reading your story!
I see... You've come a long way indeed and it's good to see that you're still discovering more about life and yourself. Life's a constant series of growth and evolvement afterall.
Hmm... maybe the pandemic wasn't that bad afterall. Apparently, it was an eye opener for some people actually (myself included).
Cheers for now DeeAnn!
