Okay... so just the other day i was randomly searching for where i could get a hamburger and i got a google autocomplete showing this:
Now this is not to say that I'm hating on any horse meat eaters out there or anything. No!... just do you. But personally, I don't enjoy eating horse meat at all, so I was just as bit as irritated as i was perplexed to why google would suggest that type of search. It got me thinking... just how many horse meat eating folks are truly out there ?... Intriguing...
But it's not just about the horse meat eating thing. Sometimes I would search "What is pain?"and I would be suggested "What is sex?". Actually... I can see why that popped up. But other times I would search "What is ne...?" and I would get "What is necrophilia?". God... I still regret clicking that suggestion. Or "What is Dolce?"( Italian musical instruction for sweetly) and end up with "What is Dolcett?". For the love of eyes, please just don't look that up!
But then after hours of constant research over why this was happening and also a few distracting ads, I realized I had it pretty darn good. We, in this present time, have our Google autocomplete pretty darn good!
You see back in the days when Google was still just starting out, people would often get a lot of weird, funny, scary and just downright disturbing autocompletes. Actually, it was quite fun sometimes. Oh why did they get such suggestions you ask? Too damn long... just google it.
Anyway, my research led me to some of these bad boys and boy... are they something:
