This year has been beautiful for me I wouldn't lie. I made some significant progress, and I am very proud that I accomplished it.
Looking back sometimes to remember how I started this journey. Coming to a city I wasn't familiar with. A city where the way of life of its occupants is different from the kind of life I'm used to. A city where, if you are not street smart, it will be hard for you to survive. But I have been able to adjust and fit in nicely. That's progress for me, too.
This year I have also made significant progress in my career. I started from the bottom, but I have kept my head high, with my focus being on what I want to achieve as a career woman. And I can boldly say that it worked out for me.
But in all these, my top priority this year was making sure that my family, mum, dad and siblings were okay. I am a family-oriented person. I believe in family first and that has been my priority this year.
But next year, my top priority and focus will be different, and that will be on my self-growth. I am taking more career-elevating courses, adding a whole lot of expertise to my portfolio as a career woman. My top priority will be to level up in all areas of my life.
Will it be tough? Of course, it will be tough, even time consuming and maybe require a lot of money. But I will make sure I see it happen.
In my line of work, I believe that ladies only grow when they compromise their bodies. But next year will be proof that women can also achieve a lot through hustle and hard work.
