Neil Percival Young, born 12th November 1945 in Ontario, Canada

#HappyBirthday to acclaimed musician, singer-songwriter, producer, director, humanitarian, entrepreneur... the great NEIL YOUNG!
One of my favourite artists. Always iconoclastic and chases whatever music direction he wants.
Get a load of this from the 80s!

His number 1 song from the 70s you might be more familiar with. What a song.

Heart Of Gold

I want to live, I want to give
I've been a miner for a heart of gold
It's these expressions I never give
That keep me searchin' for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old
Keep me searchin' for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old

I've been to Hollywood, I've been to Redwood
I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold
I've been in my mind, it's such a fine line
That keeps me searchin' for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old
Keeps me searchin' for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old

Keep me searchin' for a heart of gold
You keep me searchin'
And I'm growing old
Keep me searchin' for a heart of gold
I've been a miner for a heart of gold

And when he wants he rocks the f*ck out!

Long may he run!
