Who is the weird coffee guy at the counter?
And who's that waiter guy too? Why does he look so nervous and scared?
Why is the manager whispering with those three guys? Why are they lowering their tone suddenly that we might not get to hear them?
Why is everyone just too suspicious for my liking?
For hours questions kept running through my minds.
Ones I couldn't get the answer immediately so I tried to analyze everything on my own.
In a world where we aren't safe anymore.
In a society that human rights is a delusion.
What more can we do other than to live in fear of what we have no idea about?
Fear of being falsely accused and wronged.
Fear of being a victim in the hands of corrupt government looking for ways to transfer their frustration and aggression on poor innocent souls.
What a mess of a country people sacrificed their lives for.
A country many fought for so that our generation would be safe but sadly that really isn't the case.
We are no longer safe, shits happen and the government who were supposed to defend us are now the ones inflicting pains on us.
When did we get to this point? And where exactly are we heading to? Certainly, this couldn't have been the world and society our hero's past wanted for us.
And this can't be the world we want for our children and the unborn generation.
How do we stop all of this is the big question now?
Where do we start from? Apparently, everyone is a suspect
The Choices We Make
Some things will single us out from the rest, and the first thing is The Choices We Make. The world is a big universe yet it's small. The things we do will somehow hunt us down someday even when we think the chances are slim because we feel the world is big enough to contain all our secrets.
In a world where everyone is a suspect, we are left with making our own choices whether good or bad, the ball is in our court.
The Pace We Set
More like leaving a trail. The path we create in life is what can be used to trace us down.
The choices we make will reflect more on the pace we set for ourselves.
Like it or leave those things will hunt us down.
And the sooner we know this, the better our decisions and choices on certain matters of life.
The earlier we know this, the fewer chances of welcoming some shits and unnecessary dramas in our lives.
I don't know how to welcome shits in my life but sometimes you gotta see these things to know exactly where you are heading to.
If anyone ever told you that the world is beautiful, then trust me, you are yet to experience the world for what it truly is, I tell myself this truth sometimes cause I know some things are out there which I never would wish to meet or come across. There are ugly sides to every beautiful thing.
If you haven't yet seen the ugly side of life or the world, then prepare for it someday but you shouldn't be taken unawares.
Be careful of the choices you make, of the pace you set because no one is really left out. We are all Suspects in someone else's eyes.
