Three days turned four days lol
Yeah, not that I don't expect it, I actually did and so I am not really surprised.
So the portrait I mentioned a day ago that I was working on, I have finally finished after four days on it.
I wouldn't wanna bore you anymore with the story I promised to tell which was gonna be a beautiful growth process alongside this piece.
Perhaps someday in the nearest future, I will still get to share that beautiful story, but for now, rest assured I am not gonna bored you with it anymore.
So as of the previous day, I made an article about this portrait I was working on, I only completed the head tie as I shared in the last post, and on the second day, I went ahead to work on the face, I did every major thing there was to be done on the face before I move over to paint the skin.
The third day was when I worked on the skin and though my initial plan was to finish everything about the body on the third day, but it wasn't possible so rather than rush over it and make a mess of it, I left the work and pushed it over to the fourth day which I happen to take my time and work on the body and then touched some part of the face again and did the overall finishing touch on all the parts of the portrait.
Trust me when I say I wasn't expecting anything less or anything great but I must confess, I am stunned by the overall outcome, and permit me to say that I am so proud of my inconsistent growth.
Well, the reason I call it inconsistent growth is that sometimes I stay up to a month, two months, and even more without working on any art piece.
Yes! Before you scold me, I do know it's not the best for any aspiring artist or one who wants to grow really fast and get better at what he or she does, but here is a student struggling with many other things so I don't tend to have all the time on me to consistently work on my art every day or weeks as I should, but I do not completely abandon it either way.
So yeah, this is an inconsistent growth, I might not be co consistent but I am far better off than where I used to be and where I started from, and for that, I am very pleased and proud of myself for the inconsistent yet little paces of growth.
Let's see what we got here, do well to check my work process below as I always share them;)
And of course let me know what you think if you have anything to say, criticize, or correct, I appreciate them.
