Romans 12:2

KJV:And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

"Be not conform to this world" means that one shouldn't behave like the worldly people, act like them, dress like them, talk like them, eat like them, think like them, react to things like they do or even go to the type of place they go. Simply do not conform to the worldly standards

The new birth is not the end of change and transformation expected of a Christian. It is just the beginning. After you are born again you will receive a new recreated spirit, empowered and energized with the life of God. You can now cause changes by that new life.

One major area of life you must change is your old mind set and mentality or way of thinking. Your old way of thinking must be renewed using the word of God.

Ephesians 4:23 says, "be renewed in the spirit your mind".

It takes a new spirit working with a renewed mind to live a blessed life. Your thinking shapes your living. " For as he thinketh in his heart so is he..."(Proverbs 23:7a). Your life will go in the direction of your thoughts.

The old mind, its way of thinking, belief, principles and attitudes follow after the reasoning of the world. It accepts the defeat, failure, setbacks, frustrations, discouragements and impossibilities of the world. But the new mind stands out only on the word of God. It knows no impossibility because God knows no impossibility.

The old mind always says "I can't,I cannot, I won't be able. But with the new mind, everything is made possible through Christ who is our strength. We can do everything and always come out victorious because in Christ we are Victors and not Victims.

The new mind must be continuously fed with the spiritual food which is the word of God. Now that you are born again, deliberately study and meditate on the word of God, to receive and believe all it says about you and your new life. Go to work on your mind. You need a new mind to manifest the new life

Conclusion

As you start believing and thinking God's thoughts from his word, you will successfully live out God's life here on earth! And continuous dwelling in him and his word will help you focus on this new life without contaminating nor polluting it. Your mind, eye and everything will be fixed on God.

May God help us as we live our lives and continue feeding our mind with the food of the spirit, the revealed truth" The Word of God"...Amen!
