Como un pájaro en medio de la nada,
jugando a ser quimera de arcoiris,
mis ojos otean en la inmensidad
buscando colores que ya no están.
Me aferro al pico de un colibrí,
soñando que hay miel que mana del cielo,
mientras seco mis alas para soñar otro vuelo.

Busco en el camino respuestas
que sólo caminan en la niebla.
Fabrico recuerdos que son pinceladas
de color a la gris realidad,
porque sigo aquí, porque no me fui
cuando la hora azul viajaba en la pasión
y alegrías de otros tiempos.

Mis vacíos retroceden y florecen
en la oscura noche que oculta su alba.
Estoy bordada en ella con hilos de plata
y en su poesía que brilla rimada.
En su plumaje negro, mis palabras se esconden,
y encuentran su hogar en la propia vida.

Arab proverb

Like a bird in the middle of nowhere,
playing rainbow chimera,
my eyes look into the immensity
looking for colors that aren't there anymore.
I hold on to the beak of a hummingbird,
dreaming that there's honey flowing from the sky,
while I dry my wings to dream another flight.

I look for answers along the way
who only walk in the fog.
I make memories that are brushstrokes
from color to gray reality,
because I'm still here, because I didn't leave,
when the blue hour traveled in the passion
and in the joys of other times.

My emptiness recedes and blooms
in the dark night that hides his dawn.
I am embroidered on it with silver threads
and in his rhyming poetry.
In her black plumage, my words are hidden,
and find their home in life itself.
