I liked it! You move the story between an intimacy of childhood friends distanced by life. Each one took it on in his own way and in the end, all that was left was the common ground between them, the feeling that it doesn't pass and a kind of resentment in which they got caught up in some "decency", which seems to me to be nothing more than the excuses you look for when something is in the way between frustration, disappointment and self-respect, judgement based on your own values and not on those of the other.
