The horses came back alone, dropped every last rider with a trumpet. All the animals went crazy. Some started to talk, they had been babbling for some time, but they hid it.
The dogs howled their pain for not having a master. His unconditional love for them kept them faithful even after the forced abandonment. All human beings were swallowed by a virus that did not happen to them by a miracle.
Now, they are evolving according to their spiritual condition. Cats were the first extremes, especially the females who turned out to be the Cat Ladies of the Apocalypse, rejoicing themselves from the human tragedy.

It was near the end of time, they said it and repeated it to everyone who approached them.
The cats, all they did was a shout to the four winds: "The gates of heaven opened! The end of time has come! Let's seize the moment!"
But, since no one understood them because of their strange habit of meowing like crazy when they copulated, they thought they were in it because the screams seemed to be for the moon. But neither she nor anyone else in their right mind would decipher the secret code contained in the wild, erotic meow of a cat.
Only cats think about frolic at times like this, dogs complained. They think they will inherit the earth and try to multiply, which in the end, is what they do best. But, everyone knows that we, the dogs, will inherit the Kingdom because of our good service to humans and because we learned from them that it is not all about reproducing.
