I had so much going on this week, I was down for a relaxed Sunday. It turned out half sublime half beautiful if you think wrestling is beautiful. So here is my #SublimeSunday (inspired by
@c0ff33a) and #BeautifulSunday (initiated by 
@ace108) post to share how my week ended.
This week, I am doing for a drive, a walk, and a trip to SLAMDOWN!
Sunday Drive
As little as I wanted to do today, there were some errands and an excuse to take a little drive. Sharing a little trip down main street is in order.
A little further down, we drive through the last of the main street houses and you can see the court house on the horizon.
Only -8 this morning and the wind is light so it is almost balmy compared to the last few days. Nice to see plenty of action downtown and not be in a hurry to get anywhere.
Dog Wars
I leaned into a nap that turned into a sleep mid afternoon. So, I was a little late getting to the dog part. The latest iPhones seem to have built a little better low light intelligence. The night is magical when you can see all the way down the path just by moonlight.
Such neat light and lines in the back part of the park. Looks almost like daytime with the light coming from a parking lot a hundred yards back through the bush.
The moon even looks like an alien ship descending into the field and the trees look like they have a flood light on them.
Birdhouse tree stands tall over all of the all the rest. The sky doesn't look like 2 hours after sunset. Sir Fuzzyface is in the middle of the picture running and sniffing madly for critters.
By the time we were done, this is the route he took, including our drive in, according to the GPS tracker. Seeing as he LOVES to run free and needs regular medication, a GPS is the best investment we have made in a while.
SLAMDOWN
It wouldn't be a Sublime or Beautiful Sunday without a little gratuitous violence would it? Wrasslin' time!
The highlight for me during this production of regional wrestling was the royal rumble type event. A new contestant added to the match every minute for some craziness as they all try and throw each other over the top rope to eliminate them.
Plenty of action and showmanship had the complex rockin!
One match was carded as a Street Fight where these 2 big doods went at it all over. No disqualification for being out of the ring or using chairs as weapons. You can imagine the smack of that chair on his back while they are fighting in the crowd.
A high-flying women's title match was great too. They don't take it easy on each other and there were some amazing showy and technical moves that drew oooohs and AHHHHS from the crowd of locals.
In the end, the Punjabi Prodigy took home the Dux Cup as the first winner of this prestigious trophy. I will have to tell the whole story of this event with
@town-crier this week as we were there as part of the production as partners for this fund raiser. Incredible fun had by all.
Sunday Brew?
