Zeilly's Self Introduction

Heya’ll! 🌸

I’m Zeilly, new to Hive, and allow me to introduce myself in my first-ever post!

I am a college student in Cebu, Philippines, taking up BS Biology major in Microbiology, you could think of me as your typical student scientist, I'm still learning. 😎

It’s just unfortunate that we have been unable to conduct laboratory classes since our university still has not given us permission to go to school. That is why I’ve been learning microscopy at home. The world beyond the microscope lens is truly exhilarating, and I believe the sight is something worth sharing with everyone else. Aren’t you curious about the microscopic world?

These were some pictures I took when we tried to see how red blood cells look under the microscope 🤓

But! despite having a course inclined to sciences, I really love art. It is one of my passions.

I am an amateur digital artist and a video content creator. I am actually an official content creator for one of Hoyoverse's (Mihoyo) games, specifically for making video edits.

It is through these artforms, I am able to share my interests with people who share the same enjoyments. I love when people are able to resonate with my creations and post. I’ve been working on my skills in these fields. Recently, I’ve been learning 3D animations too.

Here are some samples of my digital art. I've been trying to practice more and more, so that I'll keep improving!

I made this when I finally decided to try out a new art style. My drawings did not used to look like this, but with more explorations, I gradually improved.

This art was when I was trying out a realistic kind of style~ I was really surprised that it went well. So, I'm pretty proud of this one.

As you can see, I really am still exploring various types of art style 😆

Anyway, despite having hobbies involved with sitting around at home (video editing, drawing, biologist stuff) and being in my comfort place as an introvert. Our family loves going on outings. From the crystalline seawater on beaches to the refreshing mountains, we’ve also had our share of enjoying the peace that nature brings.

I am also a dog lover! Truth be told, we have seven dogs in our household. That’s right, seven of them. We even bring some of them on our outings. Each of them has a unique personality and I am ecstatic to share about all of them in my future blogs. It'll be a long, yet enjoyable blog with our seven dogs 🐕

With all these interests in mind, I am excited to share my experiences and knowledge. That is why I am extremely grateful to have learned about Hive from

@arkicarls (Hi ate! hehe) , as I truly believe this is a platform that will allow me to be more inspired, motivated, and grow by meeting other people, sharing my passion, and improving my skills.
